QI GONG

Cultivating energy, health and balance

Discover Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese art that combines breathing, movement and intention to circulate energy (Qi) and nourish the body's vitality. Qi refers to vital energy and Gong to mastery: together, they express the art of cultivating and harmonizing our inner energy.

Practised at any age, Qi Gong acts on the meridians, the energy circuits that run through the body and support all our physiological functions. Through simple gestures, postures and conscious presence, the practice helps to release energy blockages that can contribute to pain, fatigue or a feeling of stagnation, to make way for fluid circulation, better health and a state of inner calm.

There are different approaches: some are more internal (Nei Dan), based on breath, visualization and internal tonicity, while others are more external (Wai Dan), focusing on gentle, structured physical movements. This range makes Qi Gong incredibly comprehensive: whether you're looking to support joint health, the heart, the digestive system or simply cultivate general well-being, each routine can be tailored to the individual's needs.

A session generally lasts between 20 and 60 minutes and is built around harmonious series of six to twelve movements. The aim is never performance, but listening to the body, fluidity of movement and connection to oneself. Practices are carried out in a spirit of lightness, calm and joy, as an invitation to return to the essential.

Benefits of Qi Gong

Qi Gong supports the body, mind and emotions through slow movements, conscious breathing and harmonized energy circulation. This gentle practice works in depth, without ever forcing you, and adapts to your current physical condition. It aims to nourish vitality, release tension and cultivate a calmer, more centered presence.

By circulating Qi and Blood through the meridians, Qi Gong improves the flow of fluids and energy to the extremities of the body. Movements release the stagnation responsible for pain, stiffness and discomfort, while promoting joint and muscle flexibility.
Practice is accessible to all, but always with respect for the body's limits: we never force ourselves, we don't go into pain, and we avoid practice in case of fever or extreme weather conditions such as a thunderstorm.

With its slow rhythm and awareness of breath, Qi Gong helps to regulate the nervous system and harmonize emotional states. Tension is released, anxiety is reduced and the inner space becomes more stable and peaceful. It's the ideal way to find your center in times of stress or emotional overload.

By focusing on postures and breathing, the mind gradually frees itself from intrusive thoughts. Qi Gong promotes concentration, mental clarity and a more grounded presence in the moment. Over time, this discipline becomes a concrete tool for reducing mental stress and developing a lasting state of calm.

Who should attend Qi Gong workshops?

Qi Gong classes are for anyone wishing to cultivate health, vitality and a more conscious relationship with their body. The practice is suitable for beginners as well as those already familiar with the energy arts, and can be adapted to different levels of mobility, energy or physical condition.

It is particularly beneficial for those seeking to :

  • reduce stress and regain a state of inner calm;

  • support a specific health condition (digestion, heart, breathing, fatigue, etc.);
  • reinforce their energy in a gentle, gradual way;
  • develop an embodied meditative practice.

Qi Gong can be practiced at any age, respecting the body's limits and never forcing it - it's a caring, accessible and progressive approach.

Teaching approach

The proposed approach guides each practitioner towards a better understanding of his or her energetic body and its overall functioning. Qi Gong is learned progressively, respecting each individual's rhythm: first movement, then breathing, then the energetic intention that directs the circulation of Qi to specific areas of the body. This progression helps develop strength, sensitivity, emotional stability and inner presence.

Practices take place in a state of mind of calm, joy and inner smile. The aim is not performance, but the conscious exploration of one's vitality. Some routines are dynamic, mobilizing muscle chains and tendons; others are more internal, meditative and focused on breath, visualization and energetic awareness.

Step 1: Conscious movement
Discover postures and sequences with listening, fluidity and respect for the physical limits of the moment.

Step 2: Deep breathing
Synchronize breath and movement to nourish energy and strengthen circulation in the meridians.

Step 3: Energy intention
Direct energy through visualization, concentration and focus on specific areas of the body.

This structured approach transforms the practice into a lasting tool for well-being, prevention and overall balance.

The teachings are inspired by three complementary lineages, each bringing a unique dimension to energy work:

Taoist Qi Gong (internal)
Often immobile, this Qi Gong mobilizes energy through intention and encourages anchoring, deep breathing and internal alchemy.

Martial Qi Gong
Strengthens muscles, tendons and physical structure. It develops stability, internal strength and the ability to direct energy into action.

Medical Qi Gong
Designed to support specific body functions linked to meridians and organs. Certain series focus on respiratory health, heart balance, digestion, joint vitality, etc.

These teachings aim to cultivate personal mastery of the practice, to anchor Qi Gong in contemporary Western culture and to participate actively in individual and collective well-being. Each person trained becomes a vector of global health, balance and vitality, for themselves and their community.
